Sol Green Reserve Irrigation Construction

LD Irrigation Services was engaged to deliver the construction of a new irrigation system as part of the Sol Green Reserve redevelopment.

The project involved construction of a new irrigation distribution network servicing both turf and landscaped areas, including HDPE mainline pipework, irrigation laterals, valve manifolds, irrigation controllers and drip irrigation systems.

The works formed part of a larger municipal park redevelopment and required close coordination with other contractors while maintaining a high standard of workmanship throughout construction.

The project required close coordination with multiple contractors working simultaneously throughout the reserve redevelopment.

Construction also involved managing contaminated soil requirements, integrating irrigation infrastructure with new park features and delivering a high-quality installation within a busy public environment.

All irrigation infrastructure was installed with long-term maintenance and reliability in mind, including organised valve assemblies, accessible isolation points and neatly constructed controller installations.

The system was pressure tested, commissioned and adjusted to ensure efficient water coverage across both turf and landscaped areas.

The completed irrigation system provides reliable automatic irrigation for the redeveloped reserve while supporting healthy turf and landscape establishment.
