Highlands Reserve Irrigation Installation

LD Irrigation Services completed the irrigation installation for the newly constructed playspace, landscaped areas and adjoining sports field at Highlands Reserve.

The works included recycled-water irrigation infrastructure, sports field sprinklers, garden-bed drip irrigation, irrigation valves, flow monitoring, control cabling and associated underground pipework.

The system was constructed alongside the broader reserve development and coordinated with the civil, landscaping and playground works occurring across the site.

The irrigation system needed to service two distinct environments: a large sports field requiring broad and consistent sprinkler coverage, and detailed landscape areas surrounding the new playspace.

The installation also required close coordination with other contractors so that irrigation pipework, conduits, valve boxes and dripline could be completed at the correct stages of the wider reserve construction programme.

LD Irrigation Services installed the recycled-water irrigation network throughout the reserve, including the main distribution pipework, field irrigation, landscape dripline and associated control infrastructure.

Valve assemblies and flow-monitoring components were installed within accessible underground enclosures to support future servicing and system management.

Dripline was installed across the landscaped areas before planting and mulching, while the sports field irrigation was progressively tested and adjusted to verify sprinkler operation and water coverage before completion of the field surface.

The completed system provides dedicated automatic irrigation for both the sports field and the landscaped playspace areas.

The installation supports reliable turf establishment, efficient watering of planting areas and straightforward access to the system's valves and control components for future maintenance.
