Irrigation Infrastructure & Control Systems
Pump systems, water storage, solar-powered controls, irrigation controllers and protected service infrastructure.

Multiple projects and sites
The photographs on this page represent work completed across multiple municipal, commercial and landscape projects. They do not all belong to one project, and the pump station, tank, controllers and cages shown are not part of a single combined installation.
Introduction
LD Irrigation Services delivers the supporting infrastructure required for reliable municipal, commercial and large-scale landscape irrigation systems — pump stations, water-storage tanks, mains and solar-powered controls, and protected service infrastructure completed across multiple sites.
Each installation is planned with hydraulic performance, site access, equipment security and long-term operation in mind.
Infrastructure capabilities
- Irrigation pump stations
- Variable-speed and pressure-controlled pump systems
- Water-storage tanks
- Irrigation controller installations
- Solar-powered irrigation control systems
- Battery, inverter and charge-controller integration
- Master valves and flow-monitoring equipment
- Backflow-protection infrastructure
- Secure controller cabinets and equipment enclosures
- Protective cages for exposed components
- System testing and commissioning
- Coordination with licensed electrical and plumbing trades where required
Pump Stations and Water Storage
Pump infrastructure is supplied and installed where a water source needs pressure boosting or controlled distribution — vertical multistage pumps, pressure vessels, variable-speed control, master valves, flow sensors and filtration, arranged within protective cabinets for practical servicing access.
Water-storage tanks can be integrated for systems supplied by harvested rainwater, recycled water or supplementary sources, sized to storage capacity, site area and pump requirements, with maintenance access considered throughout.
Controls and Protected Infrastructure
Where mains power is unavailable, solar-powered control systems — panels, batteries, charge controllers and inverters — provide reliable automatic operation at remote sites. Controllers range from conventional mains-powered units to solar-powered and remote-access systems with weather sensors, master-valve control and flow monitoring.
Equipment in public or exposed areas is protected with lockable cabinets, galvanised security cages and protected backflow assemblies, kept accessible for authorised servicing while resistant to damage and tampering.
Installation, Testing and Commissioning
Infrastructure is planned around the complete irrigation system rather than as isolated equipment, coordinating pipework, pumps, controllers and protected service points for reliable performance and easier future maintenance. Licensed electrical and plumbing work is coordinated with appropriately qualified trades where required.
Before handover, components are tested and commissioned — pump operation and pressure, controller programming, valve and flow-sensor checks, and battery or solar-system verification — confirming the complete system operates as intended.
